Internships at MFT

MFT seeks exceptional interns to help develop and run Music for Tomorrow. MFT is a not-for-profit started in 2006, chaired and co-founded by actor Jude Law. MFT seeks to save the jazz music of today for the world of tomorrow by supporting jazz’s creative economy through grants, programs, ventures, and by growing the audience of jazz. Our board includes global leaders in business, music and social media. Please see more about us at www.MusicForTomorrow.org.

Interns need not reside in Manhattan or New Orleans. Internships are part-time and flexible (~10 hrs a week). Internships are unpaid but offer substantial networking, mentoring, and professional development benefits. A music background is not necessary, but applicants must be over-achievers, ambitious, driven, and able to work independently. Recent university graduates may volunteer full-time and receive amnesty to defer any college loans as per IRS law.

We are looking for a minimum commitment of 3 months, which is open to extension.

This is not a typical internship. MFT seeks exceptional people who can take a leadership role in developing MFT's ambitious plans. Interns will work with members of our board, including managing directors at top investment banks and founders of major social media companies. Interns will work alongside MFT staff to help plan our next gala with Mr. Law and be invited to attend. Interns will also be asked to help, where possible, with other MFT events.

If interested, please email a resume and brief cover letter to with the subject "Internship." Positions remain open until filled. Please see below for all available internship positions.
