Music for Tomorrow had its premiere concert Sept 18, 2006 at Tulane University's Dixon Hall. Jude Law hosted the sold-out gala event, which featured Douglas Brinkley, Patricia Clarkson, James Gandolfini, and Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu. New Orleans' cultural ambassador Irvin Mayfield and his quintet performed, along with many Jazz celebrities including: Troy Andrews, Kermit Ruffins, Ed Peterson, Donald Harrison, Steven Walker, Victor Atkins, Neal Caine, Aaron Fletcher, Leon Brown, Adonis Rose and Ronald Markham.
